The staff of J&L Accounting Services, Inc. has been providing onsite setup, training and troubleshooting all versions of QuickBooks® since 2002. Our mission is to dispel your fears about accounting by putting you in control of all your financial objectives. Our Training Manuals are based on years of experience working with individual clients in their offices and homes. Our modular approach to QuickBooks ® has helped individuals and businesses learn exactly what they needed to know, how to properly maintain and use an accounting system in as little as 6 hours.

Having an accounting software package is not the end-result in maintaining the legendary “good books”. Accurate, consistent and reliable accounting procedures will give you and your CPA a vital basis for your Financial Data. This will allow you to manage your business on a day-to-day basis and your long-term objects. A CPA should be used to offer advice based on the information within your accounting software on topics such as profit improvement, tax planning, cash flow etc. and they will also act as a buffer between you and the taxman.
Business Forecasting. (1) Are your Financial Ratios in line with your type of business operation; (2) are you in compliance with all Federal and State(s) compliance requirements and (3) do you want/need to be in the back office to manage the end results or working with customers/clients to achieve your objectives?
Cash Flow. (1) Can your bottom line sustain business operations; (2) will the use of short or long term business credit affect your personal credit and (3) how much can I “withdraw”?

Meet James Naradzay

Even before being certified in 1999 as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor or passing the IRS Enrolled Agent exam in 2002, James Naradzay has had a passion for clean, accurate and timely accounting data in the belief that sound financial decisions need a strong, reliable foundation.
Prior to James knowing his vocation was being an accountant or even an Enrolled Agent, he learned a valuable lesson from his mother, “always leave the room cleaner than how you found it”. That piece of advice has been a lifeline in going from the manual set of books (1975 thru 1990) all the way to today’s computer programs. And it has been an anchor in assisting a variety of business owner’s in setting up and maintaining their accounting system.
There is a quote from Janet Attard that underlies the purpose for our accounting services: “As a business owner there are many topics in accounting, taxes and compliance reporting that are required of you to address monthly, quarterly and annually. These topics are a necessity to be in business – they just need not be your business tasks!”
I know how it is trying to start, run, and manage a business. Each year, my clients receive a “better bang” for the dollar. My goal is not for you to take the CPA or the Enrolled Agent (IRS) exams – but to benefit from how reliable accounting data minimizes the adverse affects for you to achieve your financial objectives. This working knowledge of accounting and tax compliance increases your tangible benefits, just not in tax savings, but your overall financial command.
